Showtime Camp solidifies McCray's commitment
There aren't many downsides for schools that get the bulk of their recruiting class before the season even starts. If there is one concern, it's holding on to the commitments since they are non-binding. Just because a recruit pledges his services to one school, it doesn't mean other programs will just give up.
Florida State already learned that lesson when Pennsylvania athlete A.J. Alexander announced two weeks ago that he was no longer committed to the Seminoles. Even if Alexander is lost, the 'Noles are still sitting pretty with 14 early commitments. The bad news is that with national signing day is still over six months away, there is no guarantee that there won't be one or more shakeups along the way.
