The Ohio State recruiting effort has been looking good in the state of Maryland this year with the Buckeyes involved in the top two players in the state. Wide receiver Kenny Tate has been quieter in his recruitment than Lamaar Thomas has been to date but that doesn't mean that the 6-foot-4, 215-pound wide receiver is any less interested in the Buckeyes. Both players came together in Gainesville (Fla.) last weekend to participate in the Friday Night Lights event.

While Tate has been quiet in granting interviews the Rivals100 receiver that has a mixture of size (6-foot-4) and speed has been a target of most of the major programs from East of the Mississippi. Tate had a chance to check out the Gators while in Gainesville but is looking forward to the chance to see more programs here once he can take come official visits.

The Buckeyes have been in on Tate for quite some time and the talented receiver still hears from Ohio State frequently.
