Hugh Charles averaged 5.6 yards per carry last season, his best average as a Buff. His 864 total yards on offense ranked second only to Bernard Jackson.

But many felt Charles underachieved as a junior because he was only able to find the end zone one time.

Despite being a physical specimen in the weight room, Charles has relied on his speed to excel at the college level. But he has vowed to be more physical as a senior.
