Cats among leaders for Alabama DE
For two years now, Willie Bohannon has terrorized opposing offenses in south Alabama with his pass rushing skills off the corner.
Bohannon enters his senior season at Mobile's Blount High School with 33 sacks to his credit, an impressive resume which has drawn the attention of several top programs, and Kentucky is one of them.
The Wildcats offered Bohannon (6-2, 218, 4.8) a scholarship this spring and are currently one of the schools that he's considering for an official visit this fall.
"I first heard from coach (Steve) Brown right when the season was over," Bohannon said. "I got to know him a little bit more in the springtime when he came down to our school to watch practice. He said he really liked me and thought I had a big future. Not too long after that, they offered me, and I got to talk to their D-Line coach, coach (Rick) Petri, too.
