Summer practices are always a great opportunity for recruits to check out a team in action. Junior OL Tyson Chandler of North Plainfield (NJ) did just that earlier this week, as the huge lineman decided to check out Rutgers in person.

Chandler, 6-foot-6 and 330-pounds, missed his sophomore season at North Plainfield because of an injury. Even though he missed the 2006 season, his recruitment is still off to a quick start.

Both Rutgers and Wisconsin are showing interest.
