Freshman d-end makes early impression
Freshman Antoine Carter certainly wasn't Auburn's most highly rated signee in the 2007 class but he's already distinguishing himself as one of the best through the first two weeks of fall camp.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end has really shown off his skills as a pass rusher, tallying two sacks in AU's first scrimmage Saturday.
"He's got some juice on the edge," said AU defensive coordinator Will Muschamp. "He can rush the passer. He's got to get stronger in his upper body and I think he will.
"He's a guy that has a lot of ability and potential, which means he still has a lot of work to do."
