Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier running back Darius Ashley stated at the beginning of his recruitment that he would like to make his college selection at the latest a few games into his senior season. The 5-8, 185-pound ball carrier made strides towards that goal this week when he narrowed his choices down to a final three teams.

The final three teams remaining on Ashley's list are Louisville, Virginia and Illinois and the three-star back still has a goal of making his decision early in his senior season.
