Jacobbi McDaniel made his first unofficial visit Monday night and feels it couldn't have been a better time and place.

"Death Valley was a good atmosphere," McDaniel told Tigerillustrated.com Wednesday evening. "It was real good."

The 6-foot-1, 275-pound defensive tackle out of Greenville (FL) Madison was joined by four of his highly-touted teammates, including Chris Thompson, to watch the Tigers down Florida State, 24-18.
