Nebraska has garnered commitments from the Nos. 1 and 2 ranked players in the state of Missouri for the 2008 class in Blaine Gabbert and Will Compton, and were among the first schools to tender written offers to Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst athlete Nathan Scheelhaase who is almost certain to be among the top few prospect in the Show Me State for the 2009 class.

The Huskers were third in line with their scholarship offer behind Iowa and Arkansas.
