Lewis' rushing performance pushes IU past Akron

Peegs.com Kellen Lewis gave onlookers Antwaan Randle El flashbacks, as the sophomore quarterback ran for a total of 199 yards and two touchdowns in IU's 41-24 win over Akron on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium.
Lewis' near-200-yard rushing performance almost eclipsed Randle El's single-game quarterback record of 210 yards that was set by the former Indiana QB against Minnesota on Oct. 21 in 2000. Lewis also threw for 137 yards, three touchdowns and an interception on 19-of-24 passing. en catches for 118 yards.
