Recruitment is starting to pick up for Texas running back prospect Shane Turner. With three offers on the table, Turner has been anxious to hear from other schools so he can sample the variety of what universities have to offer. Currently a 2-star prospect, Turner has offers from Arizona of the PAC-10, New Mexico St of the WAC, and Mountain West school Utah. With all three big conferences out west representing, has the Big 12 decided they're interested in Turner yet?

"I got a call from Kansas today," said Turner. A call is good - though an offer was not extended, a visit and potential offer could be on the horizon for the young back.
