Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian quarterback Barrett Trotter got the news he'd been waiting on Sunday night.

The big news came during a phone conversation with Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville, offensive coordinator Al Borges and assistant coach Terry Price.



While the 6-foot-2, 193-pound Trotter was temtped to take the Auburn offer on the spot, he wants to let it soak in for a little bit.
