UDUBNation.com Luther Leonard is on pace to crush the numbers he posted last season for Evergreen (Seattle, Wash.) High School. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback threw for 1600 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior. But only four games into his senior season, Leonard has already thrown for 12 touchdowns and 950 yards while leading Evergreen to a 4-0 record and No. 5 state 3A ranking.
Leonard's statistics have helped Evergreen average 56 points a game, clearly making them one the state's best offenses.
"I started every game (at quarterback) last season, we just ran the ball a lot more then," says Leonard about his hot start.
