With Groves out, young DE's must step up
Auburn's defense has been beset by injuries this season, the latest coming to All-American defensive end Quentin Groves, who will miss the Vanderbilt game with dislocated toes.
With Groves out, sophomore Antonio Coleman moves into the starting lineup while true freshman Antoine Carter takes over Coleman's former role of backup weakside end and third-down pass rushing specialist.
"We'll just step in and pick up the slack," said Coleman. "It's no big deal with that starting situation. I've been playing like I've been starting, so it really doesn't matter."
