Three picks save the day for FSU
The Florida State defense had been looking for interceptions this season, but it hadn't really gotten them. In four games, the unit had produced just two picks.
That tide turned Saturday against North Carolina State. The Seminoles intercepted three passes, including one for a game-changing score, in FSU's 27-10 win.
The only Seminoles interceptions that came before Saturday night came from Tony Carter's pair against Colorado. With the Wolfpack having a surprisingly effective night through the air, Florida State needed turnovers and got them.
