Arizona commitment weekend wrap up

GOAZCATS.com Arizona commits were in action once again this past weekend and, as usual, there were some impressive performances.
On Thursday night, 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback Matt Scott and Corona Centennial took on Mater Dei in a highly anticipated match up.
Although Mater Dei won 51-37, Scott helped keep his team in the game. Scott finished 11-28 for 179 yards and one interception. However, he was most successful on the ground, running for 177 yards.
Once again, 6-foot-1, 182-pound David Douglas had an impressive week. His McKinney (Texas) North team defeated rival McKinney 41-21 due to another dominating performance by Douglas.
Douglas had six catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns, including a one-handed grab in the back of the end zone for his team's final touchdown on the night.
