When three-star wide receiver Romie Blaylock committed to Baylor June 1, 2006 he said "I'm going to get a little Dante Hall in the works at Baylor."

He chose the Bears over offers from Kansas State, SMU, Tulane, Boise State, New Mexico State, Colorado State, UTEP, and Houston, and was the first of three Cedar Hill prospects to commit to Baylor's 2007 recruiting class.
