Defense victimized by big play offense
Defensive end Neefy Moffett and the rest of the Florida State defense knew what was coming Thursday after watching film of Wake Forest's offense. Yet the Demon Deacons still gained yards - the most FSU has allowed all season - and still scored points - enough to give Wake a win over the 21st-ranked Seminoles.
Moffett said the defense's struggles, allowing 395 yards to the Deacons, came down to fundamentals.
"We just didn't execute the way we're supposed to execute," Moffett said. "They didn't do anything that they didn't do on film. We just didn't execute, finish the plays or finish the game."
