Ford plans to return East in a rush

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN-Larry Ford says a yearn to return to the East Coast and a chance to play in a defense being refashioned by coordinator Jeff Casteel were the major reasons he chose to come to West Virginia.
Recruiting coordinator Tony Gibson and defensive line coach Bill Kirelawich visited Ford, a 6-foot-4, 245 pounder, Friday on his Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College campus.
The two Mountaineer assistants made their offer on Monday night and he accepted it and called the coaches at 1 p.m. ET Tuesday with the good news.
