Matt Scott solid with Arizona
On Wednesday, Corona (Calif.) Centennial quarterback and Arizona commitment Matt Scott received a nice honor, as Rivals.com moved him up to a four-star prospect.
Scott's promotion in the Rivals rankings isn't a surprise, as the 6-foot-3, 205-pound signal caller turned down offers from schools such as Arizona State, California, Minnesota, Washington, Boise State, San Diego State and Utah to commit to the Wildcats in June.
Despite being committed to Arizona, schools haven't given up on Scott. How firm is his commitment with the Wildcats?
"As long as they keep the staff that they have now I'm solid," Scott said. "I like the coaches they've got there now and the offense is like the one we have at my high school."
Scott's primary recruiter is UA assistant Darrell Wyatt and he said that his relationship with the coaches was the primary reason he chose Arizona in the first place. He still keeps in constant contact with the UA coaching staff.
