Cadogan enjoys trip to the 'Shoe

While it wasn't a massive weekend for recruits when Ohio State played Kent State, one big time 2009 prospect was in attendance. Nate Cadogan, a pass rushing specialist in the 2009 class, made the trip north from Portsmouth to check out the action. Cadogan came away impressed, and has a few more unofficial trips planned in the near future.

The best way for a player to get noticed is to be on a winning team. That is exactly the case for Cadogan. His Portsmouth Trojan football team is 7-1 and in the midst of a strong playoff run. "So far this season we have been doing really well. We have been doing a lot of work on offense, and that is starting to pay off now. We have been bigger and stronger than most every team we have played this year, and the coaches have given us good assignments. Everything has just been paying off, and we are looking to make the playoffs."

On October 27 Cadogan will once again trip to Happy Valley to watch the Lions take on OSU. It is a game that Cadogan is looking forward to. "It is going to be a heck of a game. It is kind of tough for me because I am torn. I am going to be cheering for my brother, but then again I don't want Ohio State to do bad either."

Outside of that visit, Cadogan also plans to take an unofficial visit to Chicago in November to watch Northwestern.
