Top TE to visit Capstone
While the Alabama coaching staff is saving most of their official visitors for after the season, the Crimson Tide is still pulling in some exciting unofficials, including a four-star Bayou state tight end Tyler Edwards who plans to be in Tuscaloosa this weekend to watch the Alabama-Tennessee game.
"We have a game in Shreveport Friday night which is about two hours away from home, so we are going to stay there overnight, get up around 5 a.m. and drive to Tuscaloosa Saturday morning," said Edwards, who is the fifth-ranked prospect in Louisiana according to Rivals.com. "I am looking forward to the game. I am going to take an official to Alabama in December, but for now, I wanted to catch a game and take in the atmosphere. I want to go to the Alabama-LSU game as well."
Edwards isn't having the kind of statistical season he would like as his Quachita (Monroe, La.) squad breaks in a young quarterback.
