Florida State took several hits before the season ever started.



Four members of the 'Noles' 2007 signing class were unable to remain on the football team for various academically related reasons. One of those players would have likely been an instant contributor.



Defensive end Brian Coulter arrived in Tallahassee over the summer and to prepare for what he thought would be the upcoming season. Instead, he later found out he was three courses short of what he needed to enroll in the fall semester.
