UCLA getting ready for Wazzu
The Bruins had a solid day of work at yesterday's practice. UCLA is a bit nicked up but were challenged by UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell for other players to step up and contribute. The Bruins continue to be plagued by the injury bug, but you are not going to find any complaining or whining about it.
Now is the time for said depth to take the opportunity that is now before them and do the job.
Both David Carter and Jeff Miller received significant reps during yesterday's practice and could be pressed into duty on Saturday.
Even though the injuries continue to mount Dorrell and his team press on.
"We had a good practice today," Dorrell said. "We did a lot of work. We probably did a Tuesday/Wednesday style practice together, which means we give more information on a Tuesday more than we usually do, which is good.
