Pearl River full of USF recruiting interest
Dave Glaser
RunningtheBulls.com USF has clearly established a special relationship with Pearl River (Miss.) Community College over the past several seasons - one that paid its first dividends with the return of former Bulls signees Donte Spires and Carlton Hill earlier this year. And there could be a flood of PRCC players headed for Tampa soon.
Three other one-time South Florida signees - sophomore defensive end Craig Marshall (Fort Walton Beach Choctawhatchee HS), freshman defensive end Claude Davis (Lakeland Lake Gibson HS) and freshman defensive tackle Leslie Stirrups (Tampa Hillsborough HS) - are currently rostered at Pearl River. Also, the Bulls are actively recruiting three more Wildcat sophomores with Florida ties - WR Roger Frazier (Lake Gibson), WR/DB Theo Wilson (Dunedin) and LB Kion Wilson (Jacksonville Raines).
"All of those guys are very interested in USF," said sixth-year Pearl River head coach Tim Hatten, one-time coach at Haines City High School in Florida.
