Tide still in it for B-ham area safety
While it appeared that the Alabama coaching staff may have gone in a different direction with their secondary recruiting, one Birmingham-area star with multiple offers still remained firmly on the Tide's radar. With UA searching for safety help, a late move on McAdory athlete Marcus Jemison, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, may be in the future.
"Coach (Kevin) Steele was at our school last week and let us know that they had not forgotten about Marcus," said McAdory coach David Powell who has his Yellow Jackets sitting at 9-0 and second in the state in Class 5A. "He indicated to us that Alabama may pull the trigger (on an offer) on Marcus soon. They need help in the secondary and like what Marcus has to offer."
Jemison, a three-year starter for the Yellow Jackets, has already collected offers from Auburn, Clemson, Arkansas and Mississippi State with Clemson currently being out in front.
