Texas LB high on WSU after trip to Pullman
Marcus McGraw took his first official visit out to Washington State last weekend. The 5-foot-10, 210-pound inside linebacker from Arlington (Texas) Bowie came away impressed with what the Cougars have to offer.
"It was great," he expressed. "Going out there I didn't really know what to expect, all I knew is that it was going to be cold (laughing), that's about it. But I got to meet the players and see how their program runs.
"The academic part of it really stood out to me. I got to hear about their Engineering and Architecture programs. Those are two things I have thought about majoring in. I was real impressed overall. It was great."
McGraw mentioned that Washington State is now the leader for his signature. Are they are slight or strong favorite? "Right now strong, very strong," he stated.
McGraw does not have any other official visits lined up, but he "may end up taking more".
Aside from Washington State, SMU and Tulsa have been keeping in the most consistent contact with McGraw.
