Four-star tight end Dwayne Allen out of Fayetteville (N.C.) Terry Sanford will be making his first official visit this weekend to Georgia. The 6-foot-4, 243-pounder may have a second official coming up in the near future.
"He has mentioned to me a possible visit next weekend after the Georgia trip to Virginia Tech when they play Miami, but I'm not sure if that's completely on yet," Terry Sanford head coach Wayne Inman said. "I still think Georgia is his No. 1 pick and I think he'll go there unless someone else really impresses him and changes his mind."
Inman discussed what his star prospect likes about the Bulldogs.
"Of course he's got to like the place, the university," he said. "He likes what they offer academically, the coaching staff there and the style of program they run. Dwayne is a smart kid, he knows that the tight end is tied into a big part of their offense and they aren't blowing smoke. Georgia has also remained firm on recruiting him strictly as a tight end and not a defensive end when they get him."
