Bedore returns to action for Cats
While the Kansas State defensive line lost some depth when nose tackle Steven Cline was struck down with a torn ACL against Iowa State, its counterpart regained some. Center Jordan Bedore is once again healthy, and slated to return from his elbow injury against Nebraska this Saturday. And while K-State's most experienced offensive lineman was forced to sit out the Wildcats' last four games, he still found ways to contribute from the sideline.
Bedore, a three-year starter, may not have been the physical anchor of the team's offensive line during his absence from the playing field, but he made sure he was still involved in steering the ship. The center remained as committed as any active player on team during practices and games alike, by making sure the unit, of which he is considered the leader, didn't wonder astray.
"He was on the sideline talking to our coach up in the box," said offensive lineman Logan Robinson. "He talked to us about the defense and what the defensive line was doing. He talked to us about techniques that would help us against what they were doing. He was just like another set of eyes for our coaches."
