Williams will bring intangibles to UNC
Coffeyville (KS) Community College defensive back Melvin Williams has matured a great deal on the field since heading to Junior College, and the future Tar Heel received great praise from the Coffeyville staff for his work ethic and mental approach to the game.

Williams, a native of Lebanon (TN), starred at Wilson Central High School and was planning to play at Tennessee Tech, but the 6-0, 200-pounder did not make the necessary ACT score and was unable to enroll at TTU.
