Scouting the Bears
The 2007 season is quickly coming to a close and Oklahoma State only has two games left on the slate.
Well, a third game could pop up, but for that to happen the Cowboys will need to figure out a way to get one more win. As it stands right now, OSU is 5-5 needing to pick up a win against Baylor or Oklahoma to gain bowl-eligibility. Of course, winning both games would be great, but so would winning the lottery. Each case is unlikely, at this point. So this weekend is almost a do-or-die situation for the Pokes, as the Bears are by far the easier of the two remaining opponents.
While it's almost automatic to think the words "easy win" when the name Baylor is thrown out there, the Bears field the kind of offense that can hurt the Pokes. But this is also the last game of the season for Baylor and likely the last game for their head coach. So will they even put up a fight? That's the big question going into the game.

THE BIG THING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
the Bear offense: They can pass, but can't really run. By this point in the season, you've probably heard a little bit about Blake Szymanski. The Bear quarterback has 2,618 yards passing and 20 touchdowns, but that is lessened by his 16 interceptions. He has a 55 percent completion percentage. He's had three 400-yard passing days, coming against Rice (412), Texas State (411) and Colorado (410). Most recently, he passed for 280 yards and two scores, but also had two picks.
