Four-star athlete loved USC visit
Thomasville (N.C.) four-star athlete E.J. Abrams-Ward, currently ranked by Rivals.com as the Tar Heel State's No. 7 overall prospect, is currently most focused on seven teams in particular.
"Boston College, Tennessee, (North) Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia and Alabama," the 6-foot-5, 215-pound Abrams-Ward said. "So far, I've been to South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina in person, and I'm going to Clemson this weekend."
In fact, Abrams-Ward was on hand over the weekend for South Carolina's contest with the Florida Gators and wasn't disappointed by what he observed in Columbia.
"I loved the atmosphere down there," he said. "I had heard about how intense things were at SEC games, and it was just as intense as I expected. They (South Carolina) is really coming on and recruiting me hard lately. They want me to play receiver for them, and it looked like they run the right kind of offense for that."
