Palmetto juniors enjoy visit to Tech

Virginia Tech had a number of prospects in attendance for last week's game from the Palmetto State. Two of the juniors that made their way to Blacksburg have been to many of the Hokies games earlier this season since they are related to a former Tech player.
Those two players are Bennettsville (S.C.) Marlboro County twins, Tariq Edwards and Tyrell Edwards, sons of former Virginia Tech football player Bo Campbell.
"They were excited about the visit to the Virginia Tech game," Marlboro County head coach Dean Boyd said. "They were two of six or seven of our players that made it to Tech. It's only three hours away, Virginia Tech is closer than Clemson.
"Tariq and Tyrell didn't say a whole lot about it. They are used to going up there since their dad played for Virginia Tech. They go up to all the games. Both of them are football savvy and they were born to be football players. They're going to be great ones."
