Newest Spartan talks about his decision
Michigan State picked up a key commitment last night when dynamic playmaker Keshawn Martin of Westland John Glen High School selected the Spartans over an offer from the Fighting Illini and interest from the Michigan Wolverines. SpartanMag.com has the details.
Martin's recruitment is somewhat unusual in that it is not very often that a player of his ability flies under the radar for as long as he did. The Michigan State staff made Martin a top priority the minute they found out about him and that diligence paid off with his commitment. SpartanMag.com spoke with Martin last night and got some insight on his recruitment.
Martin was in both East Lansing and Ann Arbor on Saturday. He spent the first part of the day checking out the Wolverines and Buckeyes, then traveled to Michigan State to see the Spartans come from behind win over Penn State. We asked him about when he decided to make his decision
