The Skinny: Dowtin was being recruited as a running by schools up north and as a linebacker by teams down south. He is a very gifted athlete that brings a lot to the table. He is versatile, quick, strong and very athletic. He has a great frame for linebacker and he loves to punish the ball carrier. Dowtin is athletic enough to play any of the three backer spots in Athens and he is a big get for the Dawgs.
