Like other high school seniors committed to Texas A&M, athlete Derrick Hall was taken aback by the news of Dennis Franchione's firing. After talking to new Aggie coach Mike Sherman he said he was a solid verbal, but the story on Hall might have another chapter.

Hall is one of the top athletes in the state of Texas and is arguably the gem of A&M's class thus far. While he's still high on the Aggies, LSU is a definite option.

"It's tough to say where I'm at right now," Hall said.
