Not making waves, or wavering
It's hard to imagine a five-star player that keeps things quiet throughout most of his senior year but when Jermie Calhoun made an early commitment, that was exactly what he had hoped to do. The 6-foot, 210-pound back from tiny Van, Texas has never been a guy that relished the spotlight so the early commitment did him justice.
However a senior season that saw Calhoun star as a quarterback, running back, and linebacker and put up massive numbers at each should have hindered his ability to stay in the dark.
In spite of his gaudy year he has never wavered on his commitment and has now set up his official visit to Oklahoma.
"I'm going up there on (Dec. 14), my family is going with me," Calhoun said. "I don't really have any big plans. We're just chilling out up there."
