Huskies hanging with Pantale
Throughout the New Jersey State High School football playoffs, there was a sign outside of Wayne Valley High School that read "GO HILLS!"
There was a corresponding "GO VALLEY!" sign outside of Wayne Hills.
The 25-square mile township of Wayne is less than 20 miles from Manhattan and is home to about 55,000 people and two top-notch high school programs.
"Both schools wanted to play each other in the final," Valley's 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end Chris Pantale said. "Most of us used to play together in Pop Warner."
They got their wish as each rolled through the state playoffs for only the third-ever matchup between the cross-town rivals...
