Reiff comes full circle
The recruitment of defensive end Riley Reiff has now come full circle. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Reiff originally committed to Iowa back in April, then switched his pledge to Nebraska in October, and is now back with the Hawkeyes after an official visit this past weekend.
The South Dakota native, whose host was freshman linebacker Tyler Nielsen this past weekend, made the call to coaching staff at Iowa on Tuesday this week. Receiving the news for the Hawkeyes was lead recruiter Reese Morgan and head coach Kirk Ferentz.
Reiff was also in contact with the Nebraska coaching staff, where he spoke to new offensive line coach Barney Cotton.
Reiff, who is currently in wrestling season where he is looking for a fourth consecutive state title this year, says his recruiting is over.
