Witherspoon gives his take on Michigan
Rich Rodriguez's hiring at Michigan came at the very beginning of the holiday dead period in recruiting, so in-home visits with Michigan commitments and targets had to be put on hold until January. One prospect looking forward to the chance to have Rodriguez in home is Absecon (N.J.) Holy Spirit linebacker Marcus Witherspoon.
Rivals.com ranks Witherspoon as the No. 216 prospect in the country, the No. 17 outside linebacker and the No. 6 player in the state of New Jersey. This past season he recorded 102 solo tackles, 27 sacks and one interception for Holy Spirit.
