UK Commit Impressed By Vols
With recruiting approaching the finish line, holding onto your commitments in some cases can be just as crucial as acquiring new ones. One prospect who Tennessee was busy trying to pry away from another program this weekend was defensive end Willie Bohannon, who verbally committed to Kentucky in November.
Bohannon (6-foot-3, 230 pounds, 4.7 40-yard dash), from Mobile, Ala., was among this weekend's official visitors in Knoxville and the trip made quite an impression on him.
Bohannon, who was hosted on his visit by Demonte Bolden and Ramon Foster, said he didn't feel like the distance from home was a factor when making his trip. He also echoed a familiar line from recruits when asked what stood out the most about his Tennessee visit.
Rivals.com rates Bohannon as a three-star prospect and the No. 22 weakside defensive end in the nation.
