Bitancurt's decision was 'perfect'
West Virginia's committed punter-kicker Tyler Bitancurt made his pledge to the Mountaineers on Dec. 5, what he considered the perfect time for the perfect job. And not just because his new team was coming off a monumental Fiesta Bowl upset victory of Oklahoma.
"That's perfect . . . the timing is perfect," said the 6-foot, 175-pound West Springfield (Va.) High School placekicker, kickoff, and punt man who turned down interest from Boston College, Notre Dame and Rutgers to attend the school of kicking legend Paul Woodside.
