Allen receiver gives high marks to A&M
When Texas A&M hired new coach Mike Sherman, one of the most attractive qualities about the former A&M assistant was not only the fact that he had been a head coach in the NFL, but that he was also bringing with him assistants well versed in pro style offenses.
The NFL ties of Sherman and his staff also caught the eye of Allen wide receiver Uzoma Nwachukwu during Saturday's junior day in College Station.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Nwachukwu holds scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Kansas, Vanserbilt, TCU and Washington State. He is also receiving heavy interest from USC, Florida and Oklahoma.
