In January, at the Army All-American Junior Combine in San Antonio, Wolfforth (Texas) Frenship offensive tackle Mason Walters said that he had yet to hear from the Trojans, but still considered them one of the many schools he was interested in.

Thursday afternoon, that all changed, as the Trojan coaching staff is now very much in touch with Walters.

After sending his film to USC, head coach Pete Carroll officially offered Walters a scholarship to play football for the Trojans.
