CLARKSTON, Ga. - Peach State defensive end Cameron Whigham had a nice performance at the NIKE Combine Saturday and he put his name on the map. He has good size, good athleticism, and he is one to watch in 2009.
"I think I did pretty good, but I know I could have done some things better," said Whigham. "My speed was ok, but I think my best thing was the vertical. I jumped 35 inches and I was happy with that."

"Auburn, LSU, Clemson, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and UCF (Central Florida) are some of the schools sending me mail. I get letters about every day and it has started to pick up."
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive end out of Shiloh visited the Plains for a game last fall and he enjoyed himself.
