Kenny Hall Talks About Vol Commitment
Tennessee got a large win on the court today against Kentucky but the good news didn't stop there. The Vols had an impressive list of visitors in the stands this afternoon, and struck gold by nailing down an early verbal commitment from Stone Mountain, Ga. forward Kenny Hall, the No. 28 overall prospect in the Class of 2009.
Hall (6-foot-8, 215 pounds) becomes the Vols first commitment in the Class of 2009, and he does so with a splash.
The athletic and versatile big man is a truly 'elite-prospect' and picked Tennessee over some of the college game's heavyweights, such as Duke, Florida and UCLA.
Despite the opportunities in front of him, Hall had no qualms about ending the recruiting process early and casting his lot with Bruce Pearl's program.
Rivals.com rates Hall as a four-star prospect and the No. 28 overall player in the Class of 2009.
