Bell a top priority for Michigan

Western Pennsylvania sent lots of talent in the direction of Ann Arbor under the previous coaching staff at Michigan, but as hard as that regime tried they consistently came up short with prospects from Pittsburgh-area powerhouse Monroeville Gateway. Rich Rodriguez and his staff expect to have better luck this year with highly-touted linebacker Dorian Bell.

The 6-4, 225-pound Bell is ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the class of 2009 by Rivals.com and backs up his lofty ranking with better than 40 scholarship offers from the likes of Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida State and, most recently, Miami and Oregon.
