Spring sprang early for WVU's football staff

WVSports.com While spring football starts a week from Friday, the West Virginia football staff has been taking mental reps regarding the 15 days of practice and one intra-squad game (April 19) perhaps since Feb. 7. That's what one who should know, former Nehlen assistant and veteran MSN analyst Dwight Wallace, says. Wallace was the hands-on coach for Major Harris, among others, during his five years under the Hall of Fame Don, from 1985-90. He was also the head coach at Ball State and a top aide at Colorado, Central Michigan, Ball State, and Iowa Wesleyan before then.
