Ward talks of 'unusual' NU visit

WildcatReport.com Northwestern landed five Chicago-area offensive linemen in its Class of 2008, and the Wildcats have their eyes on local big men again this recruiting year. The biggest among those targets is 6-foot-7, 285-pound tackle Patrick Ward of New Lenox Providence Catholic.
Ward went on what he called an "unusual" unofficial visit to Northwestern on February 24-25. It was unusual - but in a good way - because he was one of only four Chicagoland prospects invited, and he got a chance to spend the night at NU.
