Griffin ready to pick up where he left off
Odell Haggins will have his work cut out for him this season. Andre Fluellen has exhausted his college eligibility and Letroy Guion decided to leave early for the NFL leaving the 'Noles' defensive line coach with a couple big holes to fill.
Paul Griffin is one player that could fill one of those holes and give the position a much needed shot in the arm.
It wasn't that long ago that the former junior college All-American was considered a dominating force in the middle for Florida State. During two-a-day practices in 2006, Griffin was unstoppable and some even whispered that he might be good enough to leave for the NFL after just one season. But in the second game of the season against Troy, the 6-foot, 285 pounder tore his ACL and his season was done.
